Peass Industrial Engineers Ltd., manufacturer of the most preferred Indian winding machine brand PS, participated in ITMA Asia to address the growing Chinese market with its state-of-art machines. It displayed its propeller precision assembly winder model Peass Schlafhorst PPW A V1 at its principal Oerlikon’s stall.
According to the Peass Director, Mr. Bhargav Patel, the response to the machine was phenomenal considering the reactions of customers who were highly impressed with the technology and the advantages of precision winding over random drum winders. The exhibition was a grand success with the company finalising orders worth $1.25 million from Chinese customers alone with more than double the quantity in the pipeline under negotiation.
As expected, majority of the visitors were from Chinese companies, besides the customers from India, Egypt, Bangladesh, Iran, etc.
The precision propeller winder has major advantages over the random drum winder. Accommodating 20-25 per cent higher yarn content in the same diameter, it has higher speed of up to 1200mpm depending on winding parameters, least hairiness increase, zero split end and ribbon zones, and higher TFO efficiency.
