The knitting and weaving yarns cater to a variety of segments including, suiting, shirting, knits, home furnishings, industrial applications, etc.
Manufacturing units
State-of-the-art manufacturing facilities have been one of the cornerstones of RSWM’s consistent growth story. The group has 12 manufacturing plants located across Rajasthan with 6.25 lakh spindles, 172 looms, and 95 circular and flat knitting machines that produce high quality textile products.
“All our manufacturing units are located within a vicinity of a few hours in the state of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. They are equipped with the latest textile machinery to ensure top-notch quality of the end-products,” Tiwari mentioned.
A strong quality focus and varied product range have seen RSWM cater to the needs of even the most discerning clientele, establishing a significant global presence. “We supply our products to over 70 countries globally,” he said.
Strong points
Analyzing the reasons that sets RSWM apart from competitors, he mentioned,” We can summarize it with ‘GRIP’- a key part of our company’s philosophy. ‘G’ stands for giving back to the society. ‘R’ stands for giving respect. ‘I’ stands for integrity. And finally, ‘P’ stands for passion towards our work. This is what gives us the GRIP over the market.”
Adding further he pointed out that quality focus has been a strong point for the company since its inception. “The fact that we have made substantial inroads into some of the most quality-conscious markets globally is a testimony to the quality focus. Plus, we have always been known for our customer service. All these factors have been propelling our growth story over the years,” he explained.
360 degree sustainability
Sustainability has always been a hallmark of RSWM’s operations. “At RSWM, sustainability is approached from a 360-degree perspective, “We operate a green recycled fiber plant and ensure 100% Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) in all our dyeing facilities. The dyes we use are certified by GOTS and Oeko-Tex, demonstrating our commitment to environmentally friendly practices. For steam generation in fiber dyeing, we utilize husk-based boiler (bio fuel), and approximately 25-27% of the power used in our manufacturing units comes from renewable energy sources like solar and wind. In the near future, we will be launching a new plant dedicated to manufacturing recycled polyester filament, further advancing our sustainability efforts.” Tiwari elaborated.
Automation to the fore
In an industry where automation and digitization are fast picking up, can RSWM be left behind?
Absolutely not. “RSWM has consistently stayed ahead of the curve by integrating cutting-edge technology and innovative processes into its operations. We have always believed in constantly upgrading our infrastructure.”
“Take for example our plant located at Banswara, Rajasthan, with 54,720 spindles for 100% combed compact cotton yarn. The plant with state-of-the-art machinery and automation, right from the processing of the raw material to finally the packing, is setting new standards in the industry,” he observed.
New plant
When queried on the upcoming initiatives of the company, Tiwari mentioned, “As I mentioned earlier, we are planning to establish a state-of-the-art recycled polyester filament plant in Jammu, which we hope will be operational by 2026. Our vision remains to maintain quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction while striving to be one of the top suppliers in terms of turnover, profitability, optimization, and sustainability.”
