More than that, Ferraro has been one of the first companies to join the consumption reduction and 100% recyclable components programme set up by ACIMIT (Italian Association of Textile Machinery Manufacturers) called ‘Green Label’, designed to encourage textile machinery manufacturers to design and build machines that are more efficient in consumption and more recyclable. Thanks to these policies, Ferraro Spa has achieved remarkable results that can be summarised as a reduction in overall energy consumption by 47 per cent, a reduction in overall steam consumption by 62 per cent, and a reduction in overall air consumption by 37 per cent.”
“Never before has the theme of sustainability become an integral part of our daily lives,” explained Zucchi, while adding, “And it is even more of a protagonist in the current and future industrial development. Today, every Ferraro machine responds to this labelling.” Highlighting the key strengths of the company, he mentioned: “Ferraro’s experience in the sector is unique, having started manufacturing textile machinery over 70 years ago. This translates into security for a customer who can always count on a solid company that is present and attentive to market demands, with thousands of customers and units all around the world.
