The international digital printing market trend for the last couple of years reveals that it is crucial to respond quickly to the specific demands of the market with a flexible approach. ErgoSoft will take advantage of years of its experience in the wide field of various digital printing applications as in textiles, glass, high pressure laminate, ceramics, wall paper, label printing, tube and cup printing and security applications.

ErgoSoft is going to present the beta Version 15 at Fespa 2016 scheduled at Amsterdam during March 8-11. Version 15 features a new Gamut Mapping for ColorGPS Profiler which helps achieve smoother gradients and more colorful results, especially in industry-specific color spaces, as for textiles, ceramics or high-pressure laminate applications.
Features such as improved user level rights in order to protect certain elements with a password or “printer pools”, which simplifies job sharing between printers for users with several machines of the same type can also be found in the new version. Further the new matrix for stochastic was speeded up, combining high productivity with highest quality while adding up to plus 40 per cent rapidity compared to V14 dithering.
Another attractive feature is the Nesting, which is now integrated into the JobComposer and the HotFolder application to benefit from the automated arrangement of multiple images per job.
But the development has not only worked on the new features but also improved old functions and adapted them to the current requirements. Multiple Image Add-Ons can be combined on one image and PostScript based Add-Ons can be used as cutting path. Step & Repeat is now supporting PS and PDF files and is transformed form an import filter to an Image Property. Another innovation is the new PDF engine, which shows dynamic and color correct previews of PDF files as well as the re-designed Cut Feature.
Besides, the sales model has been adapted to the international market requirements. In addition to the normal licensing model ErgoSoft is going to introduce a subscription-based model. It strengthened the product portfolio by taking all the benefits of the three RIP products and combined them into a strong RIP solution addressing all the different applications in the wide range of the market.
The generational change and the imminent release of the new version is the beginning of a new era at ErgoSoft with the main goal of broadening its solid foundation with very flexible, modular parts making them easy to use and simple to integrate.
