E+L
setting growth
targets for Asia
Dr. Michael Proeller, Managing
Director, is very confdent that this
goal can be easily achieved. “As
to the capital goods industry, Asia
is the most dynamically growing
market worldwide. High-precision
sensor and control technology is
required in almost any production
process there in order to guarantee
consistently high quality and eff-
ciency.”
With its own plants in India,
China, Taiwan and Japan, sales of-
fces throughout Asia and a work-
force of 350 highly qualifed peo-
ple, Erhardt+Leimer is already very
well-placed in Asian countries. But
still the company wants to grow
further. To this end it is intended to
raise staff in Asia to a total of 450
and to open new branch offces. As
a frst step towards expansion a sales
offce will be opened in Tokyo soon.
For many years the dynamic
growth in the Asian countries has
led to an increase in highly qualifed
jobs at the company headquarters.
This is also one of the reasons why
Erhardt+Leimer ranks among the
biggest training companies in the
Augsburg area.
