Fong’s
setting up new
manufacturing facility
To cope with the new arrangement
of the ITMA organizer by having a
unique research and education pa-
vilion within the ITMA exhibition
complex, FWT – Fong’s Water
Technology, together with the Hong
Kong University of Science and
Technology (HKUST), presented
the waste water recycling treatment
in the Research and Education Pa-
vilion of the project “ZERO DIS-
CHARGE – Minimize Fresh Water
Consumption.
Mr. Alex Wan, Chief Executive
Offcer of Fong’s Industries Co.
Ltd., said: “Fong’s Industries strives
for continual development to be
one-stop supplier of not only dyeing
and fnishing equipments, but also
aiming at technological solution for
our customers to meet their buyer’s
increasing green & carbon foot print
concern”.
Fong’s is setting up a new fac-
tory at Zhongshan. The company has
bought a total of 334,520 sq. meters
of land in the Linhai Industrial Park
of Torch Development Zone, Zhong-
shan. Construction is in progress.
An additional of 186,000 sq. metres
of land is expected to be purchased
later this year or early next year. The
overall investment on the project is
approximately RMB 822 million
equivalent to $130 million. Upon
completion of this relocation project,
The theme of Fong’s at
ITMA Barcelona was
“One-stop GREEN in-
novation”. Fong’s Indus-
tries presented a range
of dyeing and finishing
equipment from among
its brands, namely,
Fong’s, THEN and
GOLLER, and the yarn
conditioning technology
of XORELLA brand in
the spinning section. The
highlight of its presenta-
tion was the launch of
the TEC series high tem-
perature dyeing machine
and the THEN brand
LOTUS series airflow
dyeing machine.
