CHTC emerging strong global
leader in textile machinery
Since September 1, the former
Oerlikon Carding Division oper-
ates under a new ownership, and
the shares of the three companies
are held by Hi Tech Textile Holding
GmbH in Austria.
Dr. Stefan Schlichter, Managing
Director (CEO) of Autefa Solutions,

work of the globally operating Chi-
na Hi Tech Corporation (CHTC),
one of the leading state-run tech-
nology companies in China with
its focus areas such
as textile machinery
(No.1 in China, No.2
worldwide), utility
vehicles, textiles and

remarkable access to
the Asian, especially
the Chinese market,
as well as a strong
infrastructure and
excellent fnancial
power.”
CHTC is commit-
ted to continuing the
existing activities and
employment in Eu-
rope and will make
more investments into
European locations to
enrich the R&D abil-
ity and to reduce costs by optimiz-
ing resource allocation worldwide.
The new group will be an independ-
ent business division and will con-
tinue its dedication to the traditional
markets as a base for high technol-
ogy products. In addition, it ensures
serving the existing and future cus-
tomers in the same manner, with
quality products still being made in
Europe, he added.
