chine are high structural
standardization for all the
diverse models, a wide
range both for feeding and
spindle dimensions for
every yarn type and count,
a great optional offer
available for all different
machine versions, and
“electronic” solutions and
simplified maintenance
to reduce the workforce
needed for each machine.
In other words, with its
new twister, Savio offers
a competitive global ma-
chine that can, at the same
time, be fitted according
to the local market and
client needs.
Savio has developed
the Sirius electronic drive
system where all the
working parameters are
set via PC. It helps reduce
the machine set-up time,
thus cutting the number
of operators. Moreover,
the new system allows
change in settings con-
tinuously and not “step by
step” as in the mechanical
version, allowing custom-
ers to try any process
combination, in order to
obtain the best results.

To meet these require-
ments, Savio has devel-
oped its new two-for-one
twister, Sirius. The main
features of the new ma-
Middle and Far
East countries that
constitute the key
markets for two-
for-one twisters
are today showing
requirements that
until now have
characterized the
“traditional” Western
markets. The
requirements are also
different in different
market zones. The
main requirement is
to reduce workforce,
which has become
expensive. Apart from
the need to reduce
the initial investment
costs as well as
power consumption, a
number of companies
seek products with
low maintenance.
