Willy Grob’s
latest systems for
weaving machines & fabrics
new products
Willy Grob Ltd. develops
and manufacturers cloth
take-up systems for all
types of weaving machines
and fabrics. The company
is active throughout the
world as advisor and
supplier to both weaving
mills and weaving machine
manufacturers.
As an ITMA highlight Willy
Grob is going to show the new-
est batching unit type SUPERIOR
‘Touch’ which is a further success-
ful development of the newly-intro-
duced Willy Grob product family
SUPERIOR. ‘Touch’ is equipped
with up-to-date developments. Be-
sides latest drive technology, func-
tions such as Speed Limiter SL
BU
and Intelligent Drive System IDS
BU
come up in a new graphic-driven
color touch screen, which replaces
the former panel with knobs and
switches.
The new touch screen system
allows the choice of different lan-
guages. All functions are conven-
iently described in the customer’s
preferred language. New features
such as enhanced IDS
BU
individual
allowing now the indiviual setting
for the cloth tension during weav-
ing machine stop or the newly
developped ‘Direct Speed Control’
System DSC
BU
which makes it pos-
sible to automatically synchronize
the speed of the batching unit with
that of the weaving machine.
Furthermore, the new touch-
screen solution prodives the spare-
part catalogue on display permitting
a quick search of the required parts.
It is at any time elec-
tronically available
at the right place.
As an option, a
meter counter can
be installed show-
ing on the display of
the touch screen the
actual length of the
rolled-up fabric.
With this concept, Willy Grob
sets new benchmarks in terms of
technology, equipment and cus-
tomer benefit.
