LMW
launches Rayo rings for
high-speed spinning
technology
Launched at the TEXFAIR show
held recently in Coimbatore, these
rings are designed with cutting-
edge technologies for high-speed
spinning. Engineered with features
such as no running-in, increased
micro hardness, higher wear resist-
ance, reduced coefficient of friction,
improved corrosion resistance and
higher adhesion strength, they pro-
vide holistic spin-
ning solutions.
The ring doesn’t
require a running-
in. Hence it can be
operated on high
speeds right from
the first day. This
ensures better pro-
ductivity and utiliza-
tion of the machine
for the customer,
says Mr. Balamura-
likrishna, General
Manager, Lakshmi
Machine Works.
Normally
rings
take a week to 10
days to start operat-
ing on high speeds.
To that extent there
is loss of productivi-
ty for the customers.
This wastage can be
completely avoided
with the launch of
Rayo rings which
are expected to give
a life of five years for cotton yarn
and three-five years for synthetic
yarn applications, he adds.
Technology has developed multi-
fold, and the spinning industry has
also witnessed advancements in
technologies and automation to meet
the challenges facing the industry.
Spinning machineries have been de-
veloped over the years to cater to the
Lakshmi Machine Works
Ltd. (LMW), the totally
integrated spinning
system supplier with over
30 million spindles in
operation, has launched a
new series of rings called
Rayo rings.
