ings through the year, and this had
a positive impact on the interest
outgo, resulting in strong EBITDA
performance. Going forward our ef-
forts for strong topline growth will
continue, and we believe that we
can drive more productivity, lead-
ing to better profitability.”
For the fourth quarter of 2011-12,
the company clocked total revenue
of Rs. 285 crores, representing a
growth of 32 per cent over the third
quarter and a decline of five per
cent over the corresponding quarter
of the previous year. For this
quarter, the company clocked an
EBIDTA of Rs. 13.5 crores against
a loss of Rs. 7.2 crores for the cor-
responding quarter of last fiscal.
Added Mr. Gautam Chakra-
varti: “The full impact of revenue
enhancement plus cost and opera-
tional effectiveness will be visible
in FY13. We are continuing to ag-
gressively focus on business devel-
opment and new customer acquisi-
tions to solidify customer base and
grow business volumes. All this,
coupled with our healthy growth
from our current set of custom-
ers, despite weakness in Europe,
will place Gokaldas on the path to
sustained profitable growth”.
