Since the debut of the VORTEX spinning machine,
VORTEX yarn has been widely recognized throughout
the world for its superior features, including its beautiful,
clear appearance, its excellent resistance to pilling and
friction due to its low level of hairiness, and its ability to
make clean prints. The potential for new product devel-
opment in the world of fashion has also been expanded.
This year, the company debuted its newly developed
VORTEX III 870 in China. With its third-generation
VORTEX spinning machine, in addition to the usual
increased productivity, improved operability and main-
tainability and reduced energy consumption that the
customers have come to expect, new and original
technologies related to spinning and clearing that
prevent hairiness, realizing even greater reliability in
terms of yarn quality have also been incorporated.
This time, Muratec demonstrated its high-speed
spinning of polyester/cotton (50/50) blended yarn.
In addition to showing the features of the yarn struc-
ture, the company also emphasized the versatility of
VORTEX yarn, which is also well-suited to polyes-
ter/cotton blended yarn.
In addition, in the VORTEX sample corner,
Muratec displayed samples of the latest fabrics and
products making full use of VORTEX yarn’s fea-
tures. Visitors could well realise the high functional-
ity and superior quality of VORTEX yarn, which
has been recognized for its features in markets
around the world.
Textile cord for tyres is increasingly in demand in
the ever-expanding automobile industry, industrial
fibers, whose market is growing with the develop-
ment of social infrastructure, and textile fibers for
carpets used in homes, offices and hotel buildings.
Now, in the global industrial fiber manufacturing
industry, competition is not simply a matter of sup-
ply capacity; there are also demands for exacting
standards of quality and cost competitiveness.
As Muratec’s “Global Strategy Model,” the No.
3M6, which handles textile cord for tyres, industrial
fibers and carpet textile fibers alike, is designed to
appeal to markets such as the automobile industry in
which safety takes the highest priority and quality
is emphasized, while at the same time appealing to
markets in which, in response to the rapid develop-
ment of social infrastructure, productivity is a high
priority and machine stability is emphasized. This
time, Muratec demonstrated the cabler for tyre cords
and carpets at the venue.
Muratec also made new proposals for the future
taking advantage of No. 3M6 in a simple machine
structure and design that realizes stable yarn quality,
reliability and achievement accumulated for many
years with the two-for-one twister.
