textile industry. Automatex has also received
permission to adapt its technology to Jensen’s
textile folding line and redesign if deemed
necessary. Many of the clients need complete
production lines, including folding machines,
so the folding lines will be totally adapted to
the sewing automates from Automatex. It will
be convenient to the clients to have access to
service and technical support from one supplier
as a “total solutions” package is offered. The
entire products range from cutting of home tex-
tiles to folding of home textiles is manufactured
at the company’s facilities in Montreal.
At the moment the strongest markets for
Automatex are Argentina, Brazil, Turkey and
France. The company has executed some major
projects in Brazil, where whole bed textile and
terry towel facilities have been built up. An-
other major project has been executed in France
for bed textiles. Automatex has been witnessing
100 per cent growth in sales and turnover year-
on-year.
Automatex feels India is one of the most im-
portant markets in the future. Its products will
have a big potential for the Indian market, since
automatization will be unavoidable in India in
the future.
