The Trident Group is a $600 million enterprise span-
ning more than 60 countries with over 10,000 em-
ployees. It is a dynamic, growing group of companies
with an expanding product portfolio, and its flagship
company, Trident Ltd., is one of the world’s leading
terry towel manufacturers and one of India’s largest
yarn producers. Trident engaged Realization to help
achieve its aggressive expansion goals, including plans
to double the company revenue.
As an important first project in its expansion initia-
tive, Trident sought to increase its yarn production ca-
pacity, aiming to add $60 million in additional revenue
by increasing output to sell more yarn to the commodi-
ty market in India. In order to achieve this goal, Trident
needed to build a new facility quickly and then ramp it
up to maximum utilization as fast as possible. It set a
Realization, the leading provider of real-time synchronization solutions for
projects, has announced that the Trident Group has successfully met its 98.5
per cent utilization milestone for its newest yarn facility, TYS 5. The factory
was commissioned and stabilized in a record-setting 15 months with the help
of the Realization methodology. Thanks to the rapid construction of this new
facility, Trident expects to create an additional $60 million in annual revenue.
