Elgi Equipments, considered an industry leader in the field of compressed air solutions, recently conducted an engagement program for the textile industry along with the Indian Texpreneurs Federation (ITF). As part of the program textile entrepreneurs were taken around Elgi Equipments’ state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Coimbatore and were given detailed insights into the air compressor manufacturing process.
On the occasion, Mr. Anvar Jay Varadaraj, Manager – Special Projects, Elgi Equipments, gave an overview of a specialized training program that the company had conducted for air compressor maintenance, which had 78 participants from 42 textile mills.
Dr. Jairam Varadaraj, Managing Director of Elgi Equipments, gave a detailed presentation on the air compressor solutions offered by the company and highlighted the salient features of the company’s product line, focus on prompt aftersales service, its global presence and its future goals.
The presentation was followed by a lively interactive session where Dr. Varadaraj responded to specific queries from textile entrepreneurs.
