INVIYA® (INDORAMA) hosted its customer meet, CONVERGE’24, bringing together industry leaders, channel partners, academic leaders and dignitaries for an evening filled with insightful discussions and celebrations. The event showcased the Group’s legacy, vision, and unwavering commitment to quality, innovation and sustainability. The event commenced with a welcome note from Mr. Shalendra Vasudeva, Chief Marketing Officer, followed by a ceremonial lamp lighting by the dignitaries. Mr. G. Venkatesh, Group Director (Textiles & Corporate Development), Indorama Corporation, delivered an engaging overview of Indorama Group’s accomplishments and future plans. Mr. Vasudeva presented insights into the spandex market scenario, highlighting key trends and growth opportunities, while Mr. Sandeep Shelke, Chief Executive Officer, shared the eventful journey of INVIYA®, highlighting its innovation. The leadership team expressed their sincere thanks to customers for their unconditional support in this successful journey.
Guest speakers included Mr. P. Boobalan, Founder & CEO of Texcoms Worldwide, who presented on the opportunities for India’s textile sector over the next decade, and Dr. G. Thilagavathi, Professor and HOD of Textile Technology at PSG College of Technology, who passionately spoke about sustainability initiatives shaping the sector. The Chief Guest, Padma Shri Dr. A. Sakthivel, delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the importance of spandex in garment manufacturing and highlighting future growth opportunities. He conveyed a compelling message to see inclusiveness & growth of MMF fibres in Tiruppur to keep pace with emerging global trends and reap benefits of legacy of Tiruppur. The evening also featured mesmerizing performances by a renowned mentalist, Mr. Preveen Pandita, and a soulful flute artist, Mr. Raj Chandran, adding a celebratory touch to the event. The event was attended by 400+ guests.
