Loepfe has been in the Indian market for over 40 years. The company has established very close relationship with its customers. The focus is now on increasing and further improving the after-sales service network and get closer to customers, says Mr. Silvano Auciello, Sales Manager, Loepfe Brothers.
“In India, Loepfe has established its own subsidiary, Masterline Technologies, through which the company has been able to come closer to customers. With the introduction of new products and more sophisticated technologies we are putting more and more focus on training our customers to help them effectively use our products and all its features”, adds Mr. Silvano.
Masterline Technologies has three offices, one in Baroda, Coimbatore and Guntur, and service engineers in another 4 to 5 locations. With a 25-member sales and service team, Loepfe is continuously engaging with the customers in India by providing onsite support and training. It is getting very valuable feedback from customers which is being closely monitored and evaluated. Mostly product improvements are based on the customer feedback.
The market and the customers are changing very fast, and the company is gearing up by providing them solutions that suit their requirement. In the future automation and data monitoring will play a major role in the textile industry. With increasing problem of labor shortage, the industry will push for higher levels of automation. The company is already providing data capturing solutions on its systems supported by user-friendly software which makes it easier and more understandable for customers.
For Loepfe, the priorities in India for 2013 are consolidating the service infrastructure and educating and training the customers, so that they make maximum utilisation of the company products.
