Mr. J. Thulasidharan, Managing Director, Rajaratna Group of Mills, Coimbatore, and Mr. T. Rajkumar, Chairman, Sri Mahasakthi Mills Ltd., were elected Chairman and Deputy Chairman respectively of the Confederation of Indian Textiles Industry (CITI) at its Committee meeting held on May 12, 2017. Mr. Sanjay K. Jain, Managing Director of T T Ltd., was chosen the new Vice Chairman.
Mr. Thulasidharan, owning textile mills in multi-locations in Tamil Nadu has served as the Chairman of the Southern India Mills’ Association (SIMA), President of Open End Spinning Mills Association and the SIMA Cotton Development & Research Association (SIMA CD&RA). He is also the President of the Indian Cotton Federation, and is now holding Directorship in Coimbatore Capital Ltd. and Coimbatore Commodities Ltd.
Mr. T. Rajkumar is the immediate past Chairman of SIMA and Chairman & Managing Trustee of Global Pathway School, Coimbatore. He has been actively involved in management of industrial bodies and educational institutions in Tamil Nadu.
Mr. Sanjay Jain is the Chairman of NITRA and the immediate Past Chairman of NITMA, Vice President of FOHMA and WBHA. He is also on the committees of TEXPROCIL, SIMA, FICCI Textiles Group and various other bodies.
