One year after their successful introduction, the Bonas Si jacquards are already considered simply the best higher hook range jacquards available on the market. Over 100 machines have already been sold and successfully installed worldwide.
With the development of the new revolutionary micro-selector, the new Bonas Si is the most compact jacquard available in a capacity range from 7,680 to 20,736 hooks, allowing maximum flexibility. The state-of-the-art, 100 per cent electronic micro-selector system allows cent per cent diagnostics, is cent per cent impervious to dust and least affected by temperature, making the micro-selector simply the best available selection mechanism to date. Perfect regulation, without tilting the jacquard, is possible with the unique warp separator.
Bonas now offers double-hook capacity with drastically reduced jacquard dimensions, including drive mass and total weight. As a result, high-hook capacity jacquards at highest production speed are now available, reducing payback time.
Compactness leads to a reduced and lighter knife package with lowest drive mass and lowest power consumption, even at high production speed.
BONAS Si paves the way for direct mounting of high hook capacity jacquards. The extremely compact installation uses the same floor footprint as a dobby loom and maintains the weaving alley layout in the weaving mill. It is easy to integrate in the existing dobby mills with limited floor to roof height. Improved high speed tension control of the harness and reduced vibration is possible due to the shorter harness.
Bonas jacquards with superstructure, to be shown at ITMA + CITME Asia, are available in several hook capacities for a range of loom builders.
