At Heimtextil 2020, the fibre manufacturer ADVANSA will be presenting the first duvets which have been certified as back-friendly. For the first time, duvets featuring Aerelle® Cool Night filling fibres and Climarelle® nonwovens have been certified as proactive products by Aktion Gesunder Rücken (AGR, Campaign for Healthier Backs) e.V. which can preventively reduce painful muscular tension in the back. Next to AGR, ADVANSA is focusing on Stop Ocean Plastic. For this, ADVANSA has started a collaboration with Plastik Bank. This cooperation has resulted in Aerelle® Blue, a new and sustainable filling fibre for duvets and pillows manufactured from plastic which could otherwise have ended up in the ocean or on beaches, thereby helping people living in poverty to improve their quality of life.
