Automatex partners Sagar Group for providing automation solutions in India

Automatex, a specialized company in the field of automation, manufactures fully integrated cutting, sewing and folding lines for the textile industry. The company has already made its mark in emerging markets like Brazil, Turkey, Russia and China and is now making an entry into the Indian market partnering with the renowned Sagar Group.

Automatex would be offering a range of cutting, longitudinal hemming, cross cutting and hemming and folding machines for home textiles and institutional industry items like terry towels, bed sheets and pillow covers as well as curtains.

“We are pleased to announce that we have concluded an agreement with the Sagar Group of Entreprises where they will be representing Automatex Inc. in India”, says Mr. Stefan Persson of ES Automatex, Sweden, who is responsible for the Asian market and will help support the Sagar Group in market development. India is not a completely new market for Automatex. The company already has an installation at Alok Industries.

The Sagar Group has been serving the Indian textile industry for more than three decades and is today one of the leading agencies for sales and after-sales service of textile machinery manufacturers. The company covers the complete range of machinery, from spinning to finishing. Some of the major principals represented in India include Toyota for spinning and weaving systems, Morrison for denim machines, UKIL for warping and sizing machines, processing machines from Kyoto of Japan, Xetma of Germany, Brugman of Holland, Andritz Kuster of Germany, Lawer of Italy and a number of other principals dealing allied machines used in the textile industry.

Mr. Viman Ahuja, who is responsible for Sagar Group’s home textile division, will be working with Mr. Stefan Persson.
