AUTEFA Solutions expanding operations both in Europe and Asia

AUTEFA Solutions is expanding its headquarters in Friedberg, Bavaria. The company unites the traditional companies Fehrer, F.O.R., Octir, and AUTEFA under one roof. AUTEFA Solutions’ product portfolio includes bale presses, nonwoven machines (fiber preparation and carding machines, crosslappers, and needle looms), wool processing machines, and automation for the consumer goods sector.

Since September 2011, the company has been part of the Chinese group CHTC, the largest manufacturer of textile machinery in China and No.2 globally in this segment. It is now better represented, both internationally and in the all-important Chinese market. In so doing, the long-term orientation toward modern technology and the growth of the group is ensured.

The core philosophy of the AUTEFA Solutions Group is the development and implementation of innovative and customer-oriented products based on continuous further development, with design and manufacturing in Europe.

By choosing the Friedberg location as the center of development and order processing, the management is responding to the demand from premium customers for new, state-of-the-art technology from a single source.

AUTEFA Solutions develops all technologies and puts them into production solely at its European locations. To keep up with the growing Chinese market, the company operations in China will also be expanded with a facility in that country. Manufacturing of machines tailored to the Chinese market, combined with intensive collaboration with the CHTC sister companies will be the focus of this new AUTEFA location.

The three AUTEFA Solutions locations in Friedberg (Germany), Linz (Austria) and Biella (Italy) will be more closely and efficiently harmonized. The central development activities for all locations will be co-ordinated and executed from Friedberg. In addition, all group orders will also be processed centrally by AUTEFA Solutions Germany, accompanied and supported by specialists at the other locations. In order to accommodate this growing capacity, construction on a new assembly building will begin shortly.

In Linz, the focus will be on needle looms and their components. The technical center for nonwoven technology will be constantly equipped with the most modern technology.

Significant investments are already being made to drive expansion at the location in Biella, which will continue to act as the center for carding and fiber preparation technology. This is also supplemented by a separate sales and service location in the US, which continues to expand.

All the above-mentioned measures demonstrate the company’s strong and sustained focus on effective, customer-oriented products and services, based on the membership of one of the most financially sound technology groups in the industry.
