Atlas Copco India recently organised a supplier meet at Pune for its suppliers for the Dapodi and Chakan plants. Its main objective was to share the vision for the future on a common strategic platform, with suppliers as key business partners.
Over 250 business partners were present at the event that saw animated discussions on subjects as wide-ranging as opportunities for growth, new avenues vis-à-vis the ‘Make in India’ initiative, and the challenges to overcome in the coming days. Atlas Copco acknowledged the contribution of suppliers to the event success, and also awarded the best performers from among the invitees.
“It makes me very proud to be here today and see the energy and commitment to Atlas Copco quality standards,” said Giovanni Valent, Managing Director. “As we continue to be committed to sustainable productivity, we are sure that our supplier base will support us in better serving our customers in India and abroad.”
“Constantly raising the bar when it comes to quality and delivery reliability are the key expectations that Atlas Copco has from its suppliers,” said Claude Servant, General Manager, Product Company Pune – Dapodi plant.
