Known for its high-quality products that find an application in diverse sectors such as automotive, garment and footwear, PARK Non-Woven has established a unique niche for itself, writes Ganesh Kalidas
PARK Non-Woven, an innovation-driven organisation, has established a commendable presence in the Indian and international textile market as one of the largest and most diversified nonwoven manufacturing company. The company, incorporated in 1997, commenced its journey in Panipat. Eventually increasing its market share, the company branched out to cities like Delhi, Chennai, Pune, Gujarat and Bangalore, along with establishing international presence in Russia and South Africa. The foundation of PARK Non-Woven was laid by Pankaj Kapoor, a vigilant entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience in the industry.
PARK Non-Woven primarily caters to clientele in the garment, automobile and footwear industry, providing high-performance technical textiles and nonwovens. The specialty of its products is the superior quality smart fabric that can be employed in both industry-based and non-industry-based applications. Smart textiles that the company manufactures have several uses in automotive, filtration, geo-textiles, insulation, and health and hygiene sectors, comprising products like felts and carpets, nonwoven fabric such as velour, rib or plain, and thermal and acoustic insulation, nonwoven media for air and liquid filtration, etc.
The company maintains its high standards of quality by using state-of-the-art machinery acquired from the best brands. The company’s management is now on a mission to make it one of the world’s biggest manufacturers of technical textiles and nonwovens. “Clients are always a top priority for the company. We not only ensure impeccable product quality but a precise manufacturing process,” the company’s management states. Customisation is the key and the company pays serious attention to the specific requirements of its clients. “All our products go through rigorous testing and checks before reaching the client,” the management states.
Technology also plays a crucial role in its manufacturing process. This includes melt-blown, spun-bond, needle punch, chemical bond and thermal bond. PARK Non-Woven also places emphasis on getting the right talent on board – a team of highly qualified and confident individuals who offer value-addition to the company. “No challenge is too big and no problem is too difficult to solve when a motivated team works to solve it. Today, the company has spent more than two decades in the industry. It has grown not only in terms of size and market share but also in its knowledge and innovation, which is what has given us a stronghold in both domestic and international arenas,” the management states. Currently it has manufacturing plants at Panipat, Chennai, Ghaziabad, Pune, Bangalore, Anantpur and Gujarat, which are prominent locations for Indian textile trade and production.
With its mission being to regularly enhance the company’s performance at all levels and to become the best in their segment, it also takes its social commitment seriously. “A good amount of our resources are diverted for our discharging our corporate social responsibility,” the management says. All such initiatives have helped the company to build up an impressive client roster that includes Hyundai, Kia Motors, MG Motor, Ford, Honda, Maruti Suzuki, Ashok Leyland, Toyota, Mahindra, and others. PARK Non-Woven is also a regular participant in textile industry trade shows and will highlight its products at Techtextil 2019 to be held in Mumbai. “It will be a great opportunity to present our new innovations and introduce our products to both the technical textile and non-woven segment customers,” a press note states.
