Aspire Grand Excel Automation is a leading name in spinning automation. The Coimbatore-based company has made a distinct name for itself with its Auto doffers, Suction Compact System, Bobbin transport System. The company is all set and ready to display its range of quality products at the forthcoming Texfair 2024 trade fair to be held in Coimbatore and will be commercially launching the Auto Cone Packing System in a couple of months.
We caught up with the duo of PN.Santhanakkhrishnen and Ayaaswaamy, Directors and partners of the company, at their manufacturing unit. We began the interaction with a question on the company’s performance in FY 2023-24, replying to which Santhanakrishnan said,” We must admit that the market has been very sluggish for the past 1 ½ years, but it was sluggish for us for about 8 months. However, for the past 3 months, we have been doing very well. Our order books are full and we hope to do well this financial year. We hope that the geo-political situation in different parts of the world improves and normalcy returns to the market.”
“We are first generation entrepreneurs. We established the company in 2009. Initially, we were into refurbishing of auto doffers. We would get used auto doffers, refurbish them and supply,” Santhanakkhrishnen, said giving a brief history of the company.
Continuing further he added, “The same customers then wanted more auto doffers. We were not able to find more used auto doffers and therefore decided to start manufacturing them. That’s how our manufacturing story began and today by the almighty’s grace we have completed almost 8 lac spindles.”
The company with a team of about 100 employees, has been gradually adding to its product portfolio over the years.
The company has supplied auto doffers all over India and is also exporting to Bangladesh. “In fact, in Bangladesh, we are a leading supplier of auto doffers, “Ayaaswaamy mentioned, while adding,” Our expertise in retrofitting auto doffers of any make is also one of our major strengths.”
The other products offered by the company include EXCELspin Compact, Bobbin transport system and Auto cone packing system.
EXCELspin Compact is another sought after product of the company. “We have covered almost 60,000 spindles and growing,” said Santhanakkhrishnen. “The compact spinning system’s quality is on par with any leading competitor,” he said.
Display at Texfair 2024
At Texfair 2024, the company will be displaying its Aspire Excel Auto Doffer, EXCELspin Compact Spinning System and Bobbin Transport System. Catalogues and videos of the other products will also be available at the company’s booth.
The company will be launching its Auto cone packing system soon. “This is our 4th product in the 15 odd years since our inception. As, with all our products, the design is simple, the machine is very easy to maintain and the power consumption is less,” he said listing out the advantages.
The company provides pan-India after sales service support. “Our machines require minimal maintenance. Sometimes remote troubleshooting is enough to make the machine up and running. If the customer wants, our service engineers are only a phone call away. A call and they will be there in person at their premises,” Iyyasamy explained.
This is the second time that the company is participating in Texfair. “We had last participated in 2015. Now that we have expanded our product portfolio to 4, the exhibition offers us an excellent opportunity to reach out to potential customers, “Ayaaswaamy said.
Continuing on the topic, Santhanakkhrishnen added,” Our auto doffer is well known throughout the country. Now we want to popularize our other products and what better platform for that than Texfair 2024. It offers a wonderful opportunity to network and meet customers.”
The company has chalked out ambitious growth plans for the future. “We plan to move to a new manufacturing facility in about a year time. Also in the pipeline are plans to venture into manufacturing of multilevel car parking and multilevel store packing systems,” he remarked.
