Recently appointed as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Birla Century, he aims to add to the sarcocarp of growth by applying his immense knowledge and experience acquired by dedicating more than two decades to the textile industry. Mr. Mehrishi was previously with Alok Industries’ Polyester division as the Senior Vice President where he was responsible for the export business of almost 400 tons per day of the total daily production of 600 tons of DTY, 140 tons of FDY and 1100 tons per day of POY. Handling such capacities and the human resources required to produce them is an arduous task which he not only accomplished, but, with his vision and modern views, modified it to provide the best results. Tackling difficult situations with innovative moves has been his strength.

His journey began when he entered the textile industry through Modern Suitings where he catered to markets like the US and Canada for export of polyester-blended suiting fabrics. He was not only able to maintain the existing client base but could expand the organization’s reach through his knack for maintaining customer relations. With each passing day, he took a step toward reaching the level of expertise and reputation he commands today.

Apart from the 12 years, Mr. Mehrishi dedicated at Alok, he has also been a distinguished part of enterprises like Indo Rama, where he was responsible for the company’s export sales to the Middle East, Turkey, Far East and Europian countries for six successful years. Under his precise expertise of the market dynamics in these markets and with the customer service, Indo Rama witnessed a boom in business.

Mr. Mehrishi’s journey, his work and the people he has been associated with have led him to become the man he is today.
