It was a fairly good show for AGS at ITMA 2015. Its three principals, X-rite, Arel and CST, exhibited their new technologies.
X-rite displayed its new range of bench-top spectrophotometers, C i7800 and Ci7600, and the new light box Judge QC. Both the bench-top spectrophotometers are based on solid optical bench, and there would be minimal deviation even for long-term stability. Judge QC is based on an advanced lighting technology.
Arel presented its production automation systems and complete dyehouse and warehouse management systems as well as machine controllers. These advanced systems help eliminate human intervention, resulting in reduction in reprocessing and cost.
CST displayed its DLE engravers and stripping machine for textile printing. The engraver would handle highly fine designs, and stripping machine would enhance the screen life. The same screen can be used for more than 25 times without damaging the mesh. The Novajet is an eco-friendly chemicals-free stripping machine for rotary screens.
AGS booked a few orders at the event, and more orders will be concluded shortly. The Indian customers were much enthusiastic in investing in new technologies. The company was able to convince them of the need for innovations, and many were keen to discuss and get more information on the developments.
The visitors to the AGS booth at ITMA included senior management team along with the chairmen of many large Indian corporates across the country. There were more visitors from the west and north India.
AGS expects the positive business momentum to continue in 2016 also.
