ADLON Industries’ eventful journey towards leadership in metallic yarn manufacturing

Surat-based ADLON Industries has made a name for itself as a leading manufacturer and supplier of metallic yarn and zari. Established in 2018, the company has been clocking a consistent growth rate and has made rapid inroads into the market with its range of metallic yarn.

In an exclusive chat, Mahendra Zadfiya, Managing Director of the company mentioned that the company is manufacturing metallic yarn for all types of latest weaving technology machines, embroidery machines and power looms. He added,” Our highly diversified product range includes, metallic yarn, imitation zari yarn, lurex and some special products, which are resistant/ non-resistant to dyeing and finishing procedures.”

According to him, the company has always been focused on investing in the latest technology, to ensure top class quality. “Our 3 manufacturing units are located in Surat. All the 3 units are equipped with the latest machinery. All of them put together our monthly manufacturing capacity is 250 tons per month.”

“We are a 100% made –to-order company. We have been growing consistently right from the time of our inception. You can say that “wherever shine is needed, ADLON” is there”,” he added.

R&D focus

The company takes pride in its R&D focus. “We have an exclusive team taking care of our R&D. As mentioned earlier we customize our products according to specific customer requirements. We study and analyze every client’s needs. Till about the early 2000s metallic yarn were basically imported from countries like Japan, Korea, France, USA and China in our country. Once we came in, things have changed. Along with our exclusive R&D team, we also have a design team. Right now, our customer list consists of some of the top premium brands of the country. Additionally we also export to Dubai, Africa and Europe,” Mahendra stated.

We make sure that the wastage at the end of the manufacturing process is recycled. Our objective is always to improve our efficiency and avoid wastage of resources.”

Future initiatives

The company has charted out clear cut growth plans for the future. Spelling them out, Mahendra pointed out,” Countries like South Korea, Japan and France are known for their high quality metallic yarn. We want to match them. We want to expand our global footprint gradually, starting 2025, on the sheer basis of our quality and serve the most discerning clients.”
