2015-16, an eventful year for Autotex

Autotex, with its world-class range of bobbin holders, has literally been going places. After the global launch of its one-of-its-kind bobbin holder with four-point holding and suspension system a few months ago at ITMA 2015 held in Milan, the company showcased its expertise in the field of bobbin holders at Texfair 2016 in Coimbatore.

In an exclusive interaction with The Textile Magazine on the sidelines of the event, Mr. Ramanujam, Managing Director of the company, while throwing light on the company’s performance in 2015-16, said: “The year 2015-16 has been good till now. We definitely see a gradual spurt in prospects. I expect the same trend to continue in the future”.

The company had created waves in the market with its bobbin holder with four-point holding system. Going into details about the enthusiastic reception of the product, Mr. Ramanujam said: “We have been receiving excellent feedback from the clients like ‘the four-point holding innovation helps us give uniform delivery of the roving yarn’, ‘the four-point holding system with suspension helps minimize excessive shaking or tilting of roving bobbins during their transportation’, and so on”.

The company recently received the ‘Best Quality Award’ from Rieter. It has also been presented the ‘Global Supplier’ status by Rieter. Speaking of the recognition, Mr. Ramanujam said: “It is indeed a great honor for us to be recognized by none other than Rieter. It is yet another testimonial to our commitment to quality and innovation”.

When asked whether they are planning any new launches during 2015-16, Mr. Ramanujam stated: “We have not yet launched any new product till now. But we are in the process of designing and coming out with some new launches. You can expect new products from us during the ITME 2016 show”.

Mr. Ramanujam is optimistic about the textile industry prospects. He summed it up by saying: “As mentioned earlier, we are hopeful of continued good trends both at the domestic and global levels. We expect the growth to be around 20-30%”.
