Savio has by now delivered nearly 4,000 Polar winding machines all over the world, one-fourth of which in India. This confirms the Savio commitment to the important Indian market.
Founded in 1989, Palmar Mills today employs 200 persons. The company produces yarn both for the local and export markets. It has 28,800 R/F spindles, and the winding line-up consists of five Polar as well as three automatic winders of previous generation Orion with which operations started in 1990.
The state-of-art Polar machine has been designed keeping in mind the customer need for increasing productivity, reducing power consumption and ensuring a fault-free package for higher productivity in weaving, warping and knitting.
Further steps have been taken to make the machine totally trouble-free and user-friendly, particularly keeping in mind the working condition in Asian mills, which are the major market for spinning machinery.
